The incredible technological progress that we have observed in our generation has a definite association with the
fulfillment of ancient prophecies. Daniel recorded many detailed predictions about the future that even he could
not fully understand. In fact, toward the end of his Old Testament book, he he was told, "Those who are wise
will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever
and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and
there to increase knowledge" (Daniel 12:4).
Before our time, no one could have imagined the unbelievable increase of knowledge that has been brought about by
the computer revolution. And the Internet has provided a way for many to "go here and there" to gain that information.
These and other technological advances have made it possible to share the Gospel globally. But they will also enable
Satan to form a world-wide government and an economic dictatorship that will require the Mark of the Beast.
Nov. 17, 2016 - Elon Musk's SpaceX company has filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to launch 4,425 satellites.
"The system is designed to provide a wide range of broadband and communications services for residential, commercial,
institutional, governmental and professional users worldwide," SpaceX wrote in its application.

In what is being hailed as a significant leap in the field of quantum computing, a team of researchers from the Joint Quantum Institute (JQI) at the University of Maryland
have created the world’s first programmable and reconfigurable quantum computer.
July 22, 2016 - Scientists at Delft University of Technology have created the 500TB/inch2 disk, which can hold three times
more data than the current flash drive and hard disk memories available. The device manipulates the interaction between individual atoms.
A supercomputer made with all-Chinese parts was named the fastest in the world Monday, and China also has beaten out the United
States with the most supercomputers on the Top500 list.
The computer, Sunway TaihuLight, is capable of 93 million billion floating-point operations per second [93 petaflops]. China also has the second-place computer,
and the U.S. has the third: Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Titan. Oak Ridge plans to have a new computer, called Summit, in 2018 that will be
capable of 150 to 300 petaflops.
While some technologists foresee an apocalypse in the fast-growing capacities of artificial intelligence, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak thinks we should go with the flow.
This $1500 beast also sports hyper-threading technology so while it has 10 physical cores, it actually has 20 threads meaning
it’s likely to destroy most other CPUs when it comes to multi-threaded tasks.
May 17, 2016 - Paul Wigley, of the Australian National University Research School of Physics and Engineering explains how
an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system was able to re-create the complex quantum experiment that once won the Nobel Prize for physics
in under an hour. He said:
“A simple computer program would have taken longer than the age of the universe to run through all the combinations and work this out.”
May 4, 2016 - Arvind Krishna, senior vice president and director of IBM Research, announced a new, free service, which he
says, "represents the birth of quantum cloud computing."
The cloud-enabled quantum computing platform, dubbed the IBM Quantum Experience, is designed to let people use individual quantum bits,
also known as qubits, to run algorithms and experiments on IBM's quantum processor.
Feb. 23, 2016 - Oledcomm, a French technology company, has demonstrated how light waves could be better than radio signals for Internet connections.

Laboratory tests have shown theoretical speeds of over 200 Gbps -- fast enough to "download the equivalent of 23 DVDs in one second",
July 31, 2016 - Google's new semi-secret project called "Skybender" will apparently use multiple solar-powered drones and
a new, more powerful technology to enhance global communication. According to the Guardian newspaper,
SkyBender works with millimeter wave radio transmissions, which, "can theoretically transmit gigabits of data every second,
up to 40 times more than today’s 4G LTE systems."
